The indirect ophthalmoscopy simulation system is an irreplaceable training tool for all ophthalmologists.
While fundoscopic images were, until today, only studied through two-dimensional pictures of a projection or an ophthalmology book, the simulator converts study of the retina into an absolutely realistic 3D experience.
The trainees learn how to properly control the indirect ophthalmoscopy and its lenses, to recognize and accurately describe the lesions, the fundus and vitreous humour, while the big number of cases included in the simulator’s data base helps them to acquire a substantial clinical experience in a wide range of the eye’s pathology.
