The red eye

Everyone at some point in their lives may experience redness in one or both eyes.

Generally, the red eye is a point which annoys the patient and his family and the concern is even greater when the patient is a small child.

The truth is that the red eye can be due to a variety of conditions, from relatively harmless to very dangerous.

The latter, however, are usually accompanied by some other severe symptoms. Thus, most of the time a red eye alone, is not a serious condition.
