It is indicative that the Chief Nursing Officer of the ophthalmological operating room at the Athens Eye Hospital was subjected to this procedure. This fact is a solid argument on how much the hospital’s personnel is convinced about the effectiveness of this new treatment. The procedure is carried out by the Director of the Department of Refractive Surgery of the Hospital, Panayiotis Zafeirakis.
