Low vision aids

Low vision aids magnify the image of objects making it easier to identify them and help people with low vision to fulfill their daily needs and to recover some of their independence.

It is important that children with reduced vision learn to use the available devices as early as possible. The use of these devices in many cases will strengthen their visual ability, which would otherwise be diminished even more because of deprivation of visual stimuli. Moreover, learning how to use these devices early, gives them confidence from childhood and he does not feel bad about using them into adulthood.

There are different types of devices such as magnifiers, telescopic systems, etc., while in recent years modern technology has a wide variety of  electronic devices to offer that make the lives of individuals with serious sighted problems even easier.
