Lesson Abstract

Thyroid orbitopathy is a condition with multiple presentations that can affect the eye, the adnexa, and the orbital structures. The purpose of the lecture was to update the general ophthalmologist for the optimal evaluation and management of patients with Thyroid Orbotopathy. During the lecture a review of the pathogenesis of the disease, the risk factors, the severity of the disease, the evaluation system VISA, and the management was presented.
